Meet at the Chicago Water Taxi ticket booth at Michigan Avenue at the Chicago River, (lower level, below Wrigley Building.)

Water Taxi leaves promptly at 10:15.

The trip to Chinatown takes 30 minutes.

(Half priced senior tickets are only available in person.)

Program Itinerary:

*11AM: Meet at the Chinatown Gate, 2206 South Wentworth Avenue, where Lucia Lee will give us a brief Chinatown introduction and tour. 

*12 Noon: Lunch at Evergreen Restaurant, 2411 South Wentworth Avenue. Historic restaurant with delicious, authentic Chinese food and great cocktails. Please bring cash! 

*After lunch: Stroll and enjoy Chinatown shops, or return home (Water Taxi, car, or CTA Red Line). The train ride from Cermak/Chinatown CTA station to downtown Chicago takes about 10 minutes.

**The program involves 30-60 minutes of walking. The distance from the Water Taxi Chinatown terminal to Evergreen Restaurant is .8 miles, about 20 minutes.
