LEARN. SHARE. ENJOY. GROW.STEP INTO A WORLD OF INTERESTING IWA PROGRAMSOur programs and activities are designed to promote cross-cultural dialogue, global understanding and, of course, friendship! IWA's programming encompasses a wide spectrum of cultural and educational programs from countries around the world including topics such as art, science, architecture, history, and current events. Some examples include: The History of the Silk Roads, Women of Egypt, European Renaissance Art, Handmade Paper Making in India, History of the Acropolis Museum, Backpacking through Nicaragua, Eating Wild Japan and much more. Most programs are free of charge and are open to every member. Offered several times per month, IWA programs and activities are conveniently presented either in the IWA office, the broader Chicagoland area, members' homes, or on Zoom.
