Join Dr. Jacquelyn N. Coutré, curator of the ground-breaking exhibition Van Gogh and the Avant-Garde: The Modern Landscape for a private tour. Come hear how the northwestern suburbs of Paris inspired Vincent van Gogh, Georges Seurat, Paul Signac, Emile Bernard and Charles Angrand to push the boundaries of painting with their experimental brushstrokes, color palette, and modern subject matter.


2:00 p.m. Tour.  Meet at the West Box entrance (between the railroad and the Modern Wing public entrance) at 1:45 p.m.
