Film (to be discussed): Lost Daughter (2021 US Drama)

Directed by Maggie Gyllenhaal, starring Olivia Colman, Jessie Buckley, Dakota Johnson.

Based on a novel by Elena Ferrante.  (Ferrante only approved of the film’s adaptation if it would be directed by a woman.) A middle aged mother English teacher in profession, takes a vacation in Greece after her daughters leave home to be with their father. After few days of calm and quiet, thing take a menacing turn. Rated R.
