Program: Robberies, Holdouts and Shootouts - True Crimes in Lake County, Illinois
This Program covers many historic and notorious crimes from the Lake County area in Illinois, north of Chicago. Hear infamous true crime stories of Lake County ranging from the Fox Lake Massacre which involves “Al Capone's gang,” the “Rondout Train Robbery” which is one of the largest train robberies in the world, one of the first murders, and an anarchist woman nicknamed “the Dynamite Girl.”
This presentation will examine the historical evidence to focus on the "Whos, Whats, and Wheres" of fascinating historic crimes.
