A Journey into the World of Paper

"Paper is such an intrinsic part of our lives that we rarely stop to think about it. Where does it come from? Who first made it? Do we have room for it in the 21st century? This is what fascinates me as I travel the world documenting the craft and looking for answers."

Presenter: Neeta Premchand is an internationally acclaimed author. Neeta’s explorations into the world of hand-made paper began over 25 years ago, and were chronicled in her book “Off the Deckle Edge”. Neeta has produced several other books using handmade paper, and she has established a paper shop in Bombay/Mumbai. She currently resides in Zurich, Switzerland.

Please bring three different types of paper with you to this program. It does not matter what type of paper they are but they must all three be different from each other.  Here are some examples of paper: tissues, newspaper,  magazine paper, printer paper.
