A film director, Salvador Mallo, pauses to reflect on choices he has made in life during major traumatic experiences. Through series of flashbacks, Almodovar skillfully reveals the past and present struggles of a man with love, success and pain. With Antonio Banderas in lead role.

The film won the 2020 Goya Award for Best Film. Antonio Banderas won the 2019 Cannes Best Actor Award and was also nominated for the 2020 Academy Awards Best Actor in a Leading Role category.
