Film: 'Cold War' is directed and written (story) by Pawel Pawlikowski ('Ida'). It was released in 2018 and was Poland's nominee for Best Foreign Language film for the 2019 Academy Awards. It is a passionate love story about two people who meet in ruins of post war Poland. They are mismatched and yet continue to see each other in Berlin, Paris, etc. It's a tale of a couple separated by political policies , character flaws and impossible love story in impossible times.
