Consul General of Mexico in Chicago

Chicago's new Consul General of Mexico, Ambassador Mendivil is the first woman to occupy the Chicago post. She has been a member of the Foreign Service since 1992 and ambassador since 2014, and will inspire our guests with her extensive experience, knowledge and observations.

5:00 P.M. | Music, piano performance by Japanese-American talent

Toshiko Suzuki-Dunleavy , delectable hors d’oeuvres, cash bar, and mingling

6:00 P.M. | Welcome remarks by Nila Bayvas and Fabiola Di Clemente,

presidents of IWA and CCCLC respectively, and a surprise trivia game

moderated by 2018 IWA Woman Extraordinaire Shermin Kruse

6:10 P.M. | Special Guest Speaker Ambassador Mendivil

The evening will continue with a toast to new friendships, music, and dancing

together to the woman-centric playlist created just for us!

Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a drawing to

win a 2020 Woman Extraordinaire Award Luncheon (WEX) ticket.
