Laura has previously held positions as Furniture & Couture Specialist at Christie's Auction House in New York, Art & Antiques Director at Branca, Inc., a design firm with offices in Chicago and New York, and Assistant Director of the American Arts Course at Sotheby's Institute. Ms. Layfer has worked on such notable sales as: Maria Félix: La Doña, The Nan Kempner Collection, and The Collection of Elizabeth Taylor, and frequently writes on topics of arts and fashion for publications.
