with curator Dr.  Jacquelyn N.  Coutré

Join Dr. Jacquelyn N. Coutré, Eleanor Wood Prince Associate Curator, for an introduction to the Northern European paintings from the Art Institute Collection. From beloved works like Roger van der Weyden’s Portrait of Jean Gros (c. 1460) to new acquisitions like Maria van Oosterwijck’s Bouquet of Flowers and Fruit with a Ribbon (1680s), the Northern European collection is a vibrant part of the museum and contains superb paintings across all eras. Explore the collection’s history and learn about its new directions in this online talk.
