Speaker: IWA member Alta L. Price runs a publishing consultancy specialized in literature and nonfiction texts on art, architecture, design, and culture. She translates from Italian and German into English, and her work has appeared on BBC Radio 4, 3 Quarks Daily, Specimen, and elsewhere. She is an active member of PEN America, the Authors Guild, and the American Literary Translators Association. In 2019, she was featured in Newcity magazine’s Lit 50. She grew up in New York, studied in Italy, has done residencies across Europe, and moved to Chicago in 2017.
