Program: From Majority to Minority - the Journey Every Asian Immigrant has in the United States

Asian population constitutes 60% of the world population. Many Asian countries are ethnically homogenous. In the United States, Asian Americans represent 5.6% of the U.S. population. Our speaker immigrated to the US from South Korea when he was 7. In this program, he will share his journey from being a majority to a minority, followed by legal actions we can take to make the community a better place for every ethnic group.

Presenter:  Sang Yup Lee, Development Manager with Public Interest Law Initiative and a fellow board member at the Asian American Bar Association Chicago
