Program:  Screening of The Wild Pear Tree (Ahlat Ağacı)

Join us for the screening of Turkish director and Palme d'Or winner Nuri Bilge Ceylan's film Ahlat Ağacı (The Wild Pear Tree). The story of a university graduate returning to his rural home, Ahlat Ağacı is an exploration of home, childhood, and how bittersweet it is to return to both. A gentle, humane, magnificently-acted film in Ceylan's unique and engaging style.

Tickets: 15 complimentary tickets available on a first-come, first-served basis for Saturday, February 23, 2:30pm screening to members who sign up online at www.iwachicago.org and email Semra Prescott, semrapres@gmail.com by Feb 15.  For other showings and tickets, see February calendar at  www.siskelfilmcenter.org.
