"Handmade Turkish Jewelry: A Master Craftsman's Journey from Grand Bazaar (Kapalicarsi) to Chicago"
Nuri Tapucu will share his upbringing and how he became a master craftsman in jewelry creation and fabrication at Kapalicarsi, Istanbul. He will talk about and show samples of the step by step process he uses in creating his jewelry. We will have the opportunity to see the examples of his finished work created from the photographs requested by his customers. At the end of the show he and his partner will provide complimentary appraisal to IWA members.
